Da Isles

From slayin' tigers ta da defeat of a naga army, today was a busy day for me, mon. Da Echo Isles be our home and we do what we must to protect it. A troll named Zuni aided me, but has fallen t'anks to da sea witch... Fightin' along wit' Vol'jin was an experience to be remembered t'ough.
So was watchin' Vol'jin summon our ol' warchief, Thrall. D'ey bot' discussed da future of da horde and Thrall persuaded Vol'jin ta stay with da horde for now despite Garrosh's actions.
Wit' all da tasks on da Isles complete for now, I was sent to Sen'jin Village where I am now restin'.
Been an excitin' day, mon, can't wait ta get moving again an' improvin' me druid skills. Speakin' of which, I wonder which role I will be playin'. On da one hand, I could heal ot'ers as a Restoration druid or call upon the power of da sun an' moon as a Balance druid. On da ot'er hand I could shield ot'ers from heavy damage as a Feral Bear druid or bleed me enemies out as a Feral Cat druid. What do ya t'ink, mon? Comment below or be tweetin' me at #JanjinTrezzahn to weigh in.

Sup, Mon

I be Janjin Trezzahn, ya be callin' me Trezzahn. Janjin be a name given by me muddah, a troll who left long ago an' never return. Trezzahn be a name given by me faddah, Rakah, a strong shaman lost in battle wit' da alliance long ago.

I be raised in our tribe, da Darkspear as an apprentice to Zen'tabra. Been workin' wit' her to call on da spirits o' nature as a druid. Da spirit Gonk, ancestral raptor spirit, come to me in a dream speakin' of da World Breaker an' a final struggle against da dragon for the future of Azerot'. Da spirit agree to aid me provided I be ready to aid da world. Da spirit also speak highly of a land shrouded by magic but dat be a tale for anoddah time.

Exiled by Garrosh, da Darkspear be at work rebuilding our home on da Isles an' I just arrive to do me part.

An' now I be visitin' Zen'tabra to be assistin' wit' anythin' needed...

Troll Druidism

Trolls are a spiritual race, having close ties and strong beliefs in the effect that they have in the world. To interact with these spirits for guidance or to soothe the angry spirits they practice a variety of voodoo rituals, such as sacrifice for example. One such spirit, the ancestral raptor spirit Gonk, came to a troll named Zen'tabra in her dreams. This spirit was angry with the witch doctor Zalazane for the damage he was doing on the Echo Isles.

Gonk pulled Zen'tabra into the Emerald Dream to guide her as Zalazane's voodoo was blocking their contact with the other spirits. The spirit taught her the means to communicate with all the spirits of nature and to work with them all at once rather than one at a time as the spirits usually preferred. To save the Echo Isles, however, Gonk had persuaded the other spirits to put that aside.

Having been taught the means to visit the Emerald Dream and communicate with the spirits of nature, Zen'tabra and her collection of trolls had become the first troll druids. The spirits cooperating even after Zalazane was defeated. Now, Zen'tabra passes her knowledge onto other trolls as a druid trainer while the trolls work to restore their home on the Isles.

An Explanation

Meet Janjin Trezzahn, a druid troll created on Wyrmrest Accord from majority votes on a number of sites. His story is going to be interactive meaning that you control how I play. For example, at level 10 you will be able to pick the talent tree I start off with and the target role my druid will perform. By following this blog, you will be able to catch up on the story so far and by following twitter, you will be able to keep up with character progress as I play. You can contribute your votes, suggestions, questions, and feedback both through comments on this blog and through direct messages on Twitter.

Coming soon, I will write a bio for this character and begin the starting zone. Expect twitter feeds and screenshots with blog summaries on the days that I play.

Here are the current rules, feedback is welcome on them:
1. One life. Once the character dies, there is no resurrection at the graveyard and the ending of his story will be written based on the way he died. Even in dungeons, one life unless it is part of a boss mechanic, such as Bloodlord Mandokir in Zul'Gurub. With that in mind...
2. Intentions to kill the character off will be ignored.
3. Low level roleplay will be focused on questing with dungeons coming into play at certain points as the story develops. Dungeons and raids will hopefully be played with people we have recruited for the storyline rather than random players from LFG.
